The Bucduke Can't Sing

He may claim that I can't dance, but at least I try. He endured the monotone sounds of the marine and the video poker girl who entertained the bar for hours with their uninspired renditions of classic tunes. He sang backup as I payed homage to Christopher Cross with the underrated, "Ride Like the Wind." He watched in awe as Ryan sang classics "Runaround Sue" and George Michael's "Faith." He was brought back to life when Skylar revived the whole crowd with his country jams. And he even helped Lauren remember the lyrics to many of the half dozen songs that she belted out. But as we drove away from Tradewinds Karaoke Bar, his song slip sat safely in his pocket: Huey Lewis & the News' "I Want a New Drug" would not be butchered this evening...at least not by the Bucduke.

Whatevers Barney.

I must admit that we miss "The Range" a lot already. We just got back to Oregon and got comfortable and my boss from Utah called us up and basically begged both of us to come help out with guide trips. So back to the land of "would you like to be saved?" We miss you guys and hopefully we can make a road trip to meet up with you on the mainland.
